Terms and Conditions – So Calm Lounge

1. Overview

The So Calm Lounge is a digital sophrology membership offered by Step Into Sophrology (operated by Audrey Zannese, sole trader). By joining the So Calm Lounge, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which outline your rights and responsibilities as a member.

There are two membership levels:

  • Essentials: Includes access to one short sophrology session per month.
  • Plus: Includes all Essentials content plus access to five additional self-paced digital courses.

2. Membership Access

  • Upon successful payment, you will receive access to the So Calm Lounge content corresponding to your chosen membership tier.
  • Access is provided via a secure online platform. Login details will be sent to the email you used during sign-up.
  • Membership is personal and non-transferable. You agree not to share your login details or membership content with others.

3. Payment and Renewal

  • This is a monthly rolling membership. Payment will be taken automatically each month via your chosen payment method.
  • You can cancel your membership at any time before your next billing date to avoid future charges.
  • No refunds will be issued for partial months or for unused access.
  • If a payment fails, you will receive a reminder email. Continued non-payment may result in suspension of your access.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

  • You may cancel your membership at any time by logging into your account or contacting Audrey directly at audrey@stepintosophrology.co.uk.
  • Due to the digital nature of the content and immediate access provided, no refunds are offered once a payment has been processed.
  • You will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.

5. Content Use and Intellectual Property

  • All content, including audio, video, text, and visual materials, is the intellectual property of Step Into Sophrology and is protected by copyright.
  • You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal use only.
  • Content may not be copied, shared, edited, resold, or distributed without prior written consent.

6. Health and Wellbeing Disclaimer

  • Sophrology is a self-development and wellbeing practice. It is not a substitute for medical treatment or therapy.
  • Always consult your doctor or healthcare provider if you have any concerns before starting a new relaxation or body-based practice.
  • You are responsible for listening to your body and adapting practices to suit your own physical and emotional limits.

7. Changes to Content or Terms

  • Step Into Sophrology reserves the right to update or change membership content, pricing, or these terms and conditions. Any significant changes will be communicated via email.
  • Continued membership following updates indicates your acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Termination

Step Into Sophrology reserves the right to terminate your membership at any time if you breach these Terms and Conditions, behave inappropriately, or act in a way that is disruptive, abusive, or unsafe to the facilitator or other members.

In such cases, your access to the membership will be revoked immediately, and no refund will be issued. If your access is terminated and you are on a rolling monthly plan, future payments will be cancelled.
