Sophrology is not suitable for people with any of the following conditions:

  • Psychotic disorders (including but not limited to schizophrenia, delusional disorder, borderline personality disorder, substance induced psychotic disorder or psychotic disorder due to a medical condition)
  • Involuntary fits resulting in momentary loss of consciousness from conditions such as, but not restricted to, epilepsia.

You should not attend a session if you do suffer from one of the conditions detailed above. You also should not attend a session under the influence of recreational drugs or alcohol.
